Dr.
Tsvetkova is Post-Doctoral Researcher in the Department of Agricultural,
Environmental, and Developmental Economics at The Ohio State University. She has been a Fellow at the Schar School of
Policy and Government, George Mason University.
Her research on energy, economic development, entrepreneurship, and
economic policy and models has been published in dozens of scholarly and
technical journals.

Dr. Tsvetkova is the winner of the 2017 Miernyk Research Excellence Medal (U.S.) for her work “Self-employment effects on regional growth: A bigger bang for a buck?”
Dr. Tsvetkova earned her Ph.D. in Public Policy from the University of North Carolina Charlotte, and the M.A. in Economics from the Economics Institute (Czech Republic). She is fluent in Russian and English.
