Barbara Murphy Stough
Vice President and Chief General Counsel, VP-CGCBarbara Stough is responsible for the
day-to-day operations of RR&S. She participates in the hiring and promotion
decisions for upper management and ensures that the organization's operations
are carried out in an efficient manner consistent with the ideals established
for the company. Barbara ensures that
operations of the company are conducted in an upstanding way that conform with
regulations regarding interactions with the public sector, as well as
employment. Her major role as VP and CGC is to
- Oversee the legal department
and compliance with government regulations.
- Develop effective legal
strategies and representation to protect the company's interests in legal
cases and with regulatory agencies.
- Report compliance and legal
issues to management and develop plans for resolving those problems.
- Advise company management on
legal issues and provide feedback on company legal strategies and the
selection of outside legal counsel.
Barbara gathers reports from within the
company and analyzes them for both efficiency and best practices, and also
looks for opportunities to reduce waste and increase productivity while
maintaining regulatory adherence.
