Nishit Sahay
Vice President & Chief Strategy Officer, VP-CSO. Nishit Sahay is Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer (VP-CSO) for RR&S. He is responsible for development and implementation of RR&S's overall corporate strategy, including business development, joint ventures, strategic investments, acquisitionsand planning.
Mr. Sahay is a seasoned executive having over 20 years’ experience in the fields of techno-policy, trade negotiations, economic affairs, higher education, entrepreneurship, training and mission critical technology solutions to government & private sectors. His work in government and private sectors includes aspects of trade and technology, transport management and policy, and education and training. He is known as bridge builder between various stakeholders who has the ability to foresee industrial and political trends in an electronic age of globalization. Mr. Sahay has hands-on experience dealing with factors affecting trade between the United States and the emerging major markets around the world.
He has been active in the fields of government relations/liaison, public policy analysis, public diplomacy, public speaking on trade & technology, international trade management, understanding needs of small & medium enterprises, lobbying, marketing, deployment of information and communication technologies, and assistance in grant writing and strategy consulting. He has coordinated export/import facilitation programs and media management for governments and trade missions abroad.
Mr. Sahay is the executive member of Indian Police Foundation and also serves as an affiliate faculty at the School of Public Policy, George Mason University.
Mr. Sahay earned the M.S. degree in Transportation Policy, Operations and Logistics (TPOL) at George Mason University, the M.B.A. degree from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), and the M.Sc. degree in Experimental Nuclear physics at the department of Physics & Astrophysics at Delhi University (India). Mr. Sahay is a naturalized US Citizen and a resident of Fairfax, VA. He is fluent in English and Hindi languages.
